Prof. Chen Yu, a professor of Department of Economics Information Management.

Got his Bachelor Degree on Mathematics in 1965 and Master Degree on Computer Application in 1981. Now, he has taught and researched in Renmin University of China for 24 years.
His research and teaching field is very cross-disciplinary and practical. Based on his rich experience on Management Information System, he has published many books and papers.
During these years he has taught many courses, including Analysis and Design of Information System, Information Economics, Introduction to System, Advance Information System, Introduction to Information System.
His main research areas include IT application, System Theory, Information Economics, E-learning and others.
During past years, Prof. Chen has published a lot of great research papers, including:

Also, Prof. Chen keeps wide contacts with international and society. He is as a consultant for Beijing City Government, consultant for Shenzhen City Government, chairman of Chinese Information Economy Society, Chinese representative at the TC8 of IFIP.
